The legend of Żubrówka

Originating over 500 years ago in the wild primeval forests of Białowieża where the majestic bison roam freely, and the enigmatic bison grass grows.

The Białowieża Forest is one of the last and largest remaining parts of the immense primeval forest

Once stretched across the European Plain it is protected as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

The forest is an irreplaceable area for biodiversity conservation, due to its size, protection status, and substantially undisturbed nature. It is home to the largest free-roaming population of European Bison, which is the iconic species of the forest.

Żubrówka Bison Grass is made with local, natural ingredients including artesian well water and wild bison grass, which is hand-picked from secret glades in the Białowieża forest.

Each bottle of Żubrówka Bison Grass is decorated with a blade of bison grass, enhancing its unique provenance and authenticity.

Produced exclusively at our state-of-the-art distillery in Bialystok, Poland, this grain-based vodka goes through multiple distillations before the addition of pure bison grass essence to create a truly unique and distinctive vodka.

Enjoyed across the world, Żubrówka is the world’s 4th largest vodka, and an icon of Polish national pride.
